Call of Duty: Black Ops II

The nerxt games are going to be built on a brand new engine for the next gen consoles

This is the last COD game of this generation, so it stands to reason they'd do it as cheaply and quickly as possible by re-using old maps.

Anyone else struggle with the Chicom in core? It is taking the entire clip to down somebody, most bullets just don't hit the target.

I use it on full auto and up close it is lethal but at any sort of range it is one of the few guns that have some recoil so best to manually burst it for distance. I do find it takes a lot of bullets though to kill, usually get 2 kills out of a clip and then die while re-loading so I am dreading trying to do bloodthirsty camo for it.

New map pack apparently coming on the 16th...

Rumors of a Firing Range remake.

Says its a re-imagined firing range, so Firing range 2025 then which equals Blops Firing range with some new textues probably.

No COD on the 360 in november? I don't believe anyone would be that stupid not to make a ps3 and 360 version as well for atleast another year.

They would lose millions in sale if the cut off the current gen version of cod. Activision are money grabbing *******s and I'm sure they'll release it on current and next gen.

They probably will, but will be cut down versions that don't represent the full versions you will get on the PS4 / NextBox.

My bet would be the only major difference this time around will be offering dedicated servers for the next generation consoles. There's far too much money at stake to pee on this generation and will be far too few new consoles by xmas in the hands of gamers.

If you took the 360 launch, people on here were still trying to get their hands on a console four months after launch. It was the end of feb before I managed to get one myself.

I'll hold off judgement of the new map pack until I see the content properly, the only things I don't want are regurgitated maps and extra (better) weapons which are blocked behind a pay wall. I only bought Revolution yesterday but the Peacekeeper is so obviously better than any of the stock SMG's it's not even funny.

Normally I'd be fine with them putting in maps from previous Call of Duty games but there were only a handful which I truly loved on Black Ops and Treyarch seem intent on adding the crappest of the bunch. Nuketown? Firing Range? Seriously? We need maps like Radiation, WMD and Summit. Good maps with good focal points, not maps with eleventy billion corners and blind spots where little Jonny no caps will just camp for the entire ****ing game.

Can't see that happening myself. Activision will say the game runs fine using P2P and then they'll bump the price up again because it's "next gen"

I don't care about that, foolishly I bought the season pass so I expect new maps. The end. It's not as if the have been 'quick' anyway!

This isn't the last cod either.

tried playing on my new 50" GT50 earlier, the crosshair was HUGE, need to get used to it, will try some more maybe later tonight (after the footy) or tomorrow.

although i can only game for 30 mins at a time until i break in the new plasma properly.

IMO apart from range i don't think it's better in any other category compare to other smg's.

Today I took out an enemy hunter-killer with my EMP grenade. I was amazingly chuffed with myself.

Next target, shoot down a Hellfire!
