Yep...most of asia eats dog. I believe i read that dogs were first domesticated in china and for the purpose of eating.

Not quite as simple as that, tho not intending to take anything away from the terrible stuff that goes on there, NK effectively acted (acts) as a fence for a lot of that hardware which then ended up in the hands of people like Iran, most recently Syria and other groups (terrorists/"freedom fighters?") that countries like China and Russia can't be seen supporting directly.
