Seems like Sky have screwed this up big time.

Was supposed to have all switched over on Wednesday but loads of people are having issues it seems including myself.

I haven't been able to access my personal email at all since then via webmail, iOS, Android or desktop client..

Not good Sky - very very pooooor :o

To avoid the above when they decide to outsource and it might be a pain in the backside to keep the email active if you migrate away from Sky in the future.

I use Gmail.

Apart from a few dozen messages hitting my inbox the other day (basically all the spam boxes) I've not had any problems. Did you remember to agree to the T&Cs?

Works on my iPod, web and outlook.

More importantly.. if you move provider... you don't have to leave your email address.

If you are a business... get your own domain for email as well :-)

Actually I've already left Sky and moved over to Virgin but they never cancelled my account.

It's the thought of changing everything linked to me Sky email address which is putting me off moving tbh!

Eh? lol

Finally got it back today although have lost over a weeks worth of emails that have been bounced ever since the cutover doh.

Supposedly caused by the fact that I already had a Yahoo account of some sort associated with my Sky email address, what?

I doubt that very much mines been nackered since the move over they are trying to blame anyone but themselves for the mess up.

They should have never moved from Google based. The Yahoo app doesn't even have a widget fgs :/

I use Outlook.com and Office365 exchange, I just don't see any reason to tie my email and identity to a single ISP whose main motivation for providing the email service is to try to keep me on their service and make it difficult for me to change ISP
