***Show us your Knives***

Why is this thread still here???
The O.P has clearly displayed an offensive weapon which is illegal to own in the U.K
He should be keeping quiet about breaking import laws and not boasting about having it on an internet forum

It's not illegal

A few of mine. The Leatherman charges get used all the time, great little tools. I used to carry the Sog blink all the time at work to open boxes and sharpen pencils, but then I got the little keyring spydercos and use the mid sized one instead now.

Got any other shots of the knife second from the right? Looks good

I have a SAK Huntsman as an every day carry and an Opinel 6 to carry in the field. I also have a mkII Leatherman Wave that I sling in when camping, but they are all boring and nowhere near as nice as some of the blades on this thread, so:

16"/41cm blade tip to tang tip (straight line).

Best I go slash up some hookers, yeah?

i have a fixed blade hunting knife about a foot long, total length that i got when i was 16 or something.. very trusting dad..

i have no interest in it today, i like all the different designs but have no need to buy them..

i only like buying stuff when its going to get used..

WOW! That is something special. Something like that wouldn't be used a great deal would it?

Thank you! It's a ceremonial Bhojpure Kukri - I bought it in Kathmandu several years ago. The shop sold all types of kukri, from even more decorated to plain military style ones. Mine has some really nice engraving on the blade :)

It's razor sharp - I've never used it in anger!! It has a buffalo horn handle and a leather scabbard.

It's nice, legal to own and I like it :)

/edit - by ceremonial, I mean it is fully functional as a kukri, but why would you want to risk damaging it? 'Working' kukri knives are not usually as engraved/not engraved at all.

I quite like the Spyderco knives, going to grab the Spyderco Slipset or whatever it's called that has the Bug, Honeybee and Grasshoper in.

I have around 15-20 knives of various sizes, smallest is about an inch and the largest has a 12 inch blade.

I'll post up pics of a couple if anyone's interested. I also have a balisong.

Jeff imada has a good book on it if anyone is interested in learning to use it properly. I read some comments about people wanting to use it.

I did a lot of martial arts, hunting and fishing when I was younger, so they all served a purpose.

May I ask where/how you came to own your Balisong as I want a Benchmade Model 42 but I legally can't get one, after reading up it, I don't even know how my current one got through customs...

There are some nice ones in here, 2 things however...

1) Why does everyone feel the need to worry about knives? It's not like knives kill people, people kill people!
2) Why do people have art work on knives, I've never got that, I like knives mainly for opening things (for instance parcels), so they're not something I have a great use for but more an off use for, and for this reason I don't see the point in admiring art work on a knife...

Edit: @CrAzY It's not a lock knife, and therefore not illegal, however if its off the top of my head 3" or more than police may question you and decide if you should really be carrying it.

1 - I agree entirely.
2 - As has been said before, anything crafted to a high quality standard and impressive appearance is collectable. There's really no confusion here.
