BMW and M Power Owners

No, there are no fixed intervals. It's 'variable servicing'.

How it actually works is that you need a service every X litres of fuel (This can differ per model, for example mine is every 2370 litres) - thats how it works out how many miles until the next service.

That I didn't know, cheers. I'll look out for the intervals on the car to get an idea of them and see where I stand.

Just realised it doesn't have rear PDC. I will miss that if I do go for it.

Hi All,

Just joined the BMW club, here are some pics if you are interested:

She's no minter but its something I can work with and I'm more than happy with it :)

Let the money hemorrhaging begin! :D

I think the all the issued wheels for the E46 suit it. I've had the 18's and 19's on my old E46 and WRT to handling and comfort the 18's win hands down. I still like the look of the 19's, but the diamond cut face is a PITA when it comes to kerbing and going "milky". If I had another E46 I'd get some CSL reps.

I'd put fake CSL's on an E46 M3 if I had one (WillGills looked so pretty) :o

Its a must

On another note im having very little interest in my 330CD -http://www.pistonheads.com/classifi...46-330cd-m-sport-2005--w-bmw-warranty/1185957 I've brought the price down to £7000 and still nothing, think its time for auto trader :( (always sold my cars on Pistonheads) Would like to put it on a few BMW forums however im guessing i wont be able to post a for sale advert as a new member!. It must be down to the high mileage, i normally find selling cars a breeze ...

I wouldnt worry too much, Pistonheads is a very small site with a tiny catchment compared with Autotrader.

Think, would your average joe even have heard of pistonheads?

This echos what I've already said to him. I recommended eBay and AutoTrader.

I'd ditch the PH advert and re-advertise on the above at £7.5k with the view of accepting £7k.

I'm currently advertising my E46 on Autotrader and previously very recently on Pistonheads - I opted for the "top package" in Autotrader (got a "good" deal with the Autotrader sales team), and although I've had quite a lot of lookers, I've had more phone calls that originated from Pistonheads.

Yours being a non run of the mill vehicle I'd say you were good with Pistonheads but in truth, although yours is a stunning example, I'd suggest it was priced slightly north of where it should be at. Just some constructive criticism, good luck with the sale!

Seems to be a buyers market at the moment :(

Indeed - £7k makes it the most expensive E46 330cd on Auto Trader.
Most seem to be going for about £6k with like-for-like mileage and condition.

Really?

I'm looking and yes there is one priced at 6k but that has done a further 14,000 miles and has no BMW warranty, sat nav and has a rather funky colour combo .. The next one is 6.6k and has a further 6k and no nav or warranty.

I want a quick sale so ill change it to £6750

Im happy to use auto trader but i have sold around 8 cars on Pistonheads without it ... I think its the high mileage that puts people off

This car is more "run-of-the-mill" when compared to some of your previous. I still think it'd do better on Autotrader.

I can't really see any reason for not putting it on both? Can't argue it wouldn't get more exposure.

But neither of these cars have sold either.

Are you on the monthly or annual warranty?
