You've got 5 people to pass it around and if your build up is slow enough the wing backs start overlapping too. Plenty of options! There are ways to play it other than a mash of chipped through balls and sprint!
Don't get me wrong 4231 is my favourite overall formation but 5 at the back is good fun too if you play it right. I definitely haven't ended up absorbing pressure any more with 5 at the back than I have with any other formation I've tried enough to make a reasoned judgement.

True. I had a game just now against FC Sweat or something along those lines and his play was one two pass chipped through ball. That was it! So I did the same three times with IF Muriel and blew him some kisses for good effect when he scored each time. Cool story bro I know but the rage was high on the lad. FIFA highlights for me is definitely nice goals firstly and then winding people up.
Edit: IF Muriel is disgusting and amazing at the same time. Much like 5 atb.
