Cost of a Titan 2 or a 8970 or both?
Well both really. But i would have thought the 8970 will be priced around £400-£500 on launch. I'll be surprised if its higher than that.

I mean the GTX600 series was launched around March last year if I remember correctly...the Titan was launched like almost exactly a year later, which should really had been the next gen card (GTX700 series) that replaces the GTX600 series range at similar prices brackets, not charging DOUBLE the amount for them...
Nope, the two years product life of 7000 series is BS as well, and I have said this in no lesser than one occasionso have a go at Nvidia for launching something 1 year on, albeit an expensive product, but it's totally ok for AMD to take 2 years to release their next product![]()
they even took a year and a half just to release their official dual GPU card
you guys crack me right up sometimes

As i said a few weeks ago on here in a thread "I bet Nvidia will release a TRUE GK110 card with the currently disabled SMX cluster unlocked which will give the full amount of 2880 Shader cores" what i didnt expect was it to be released so soon if the rumours are TRUE.
I feel sorry for those that bought the original Titan.
Information is from a good source, we may see the new ultra sooner than what we think.

Interesting, but i don't really see the need for nVidia to do this.
I'm ok with this.
The proper price for a Titan is £800 which is what I paid, these Ultras will have a full blown RRP of £1000 so OCUK will probably charge £1200 for them. heh *Hides*
Maybe the release of these will reduce the Titan price![]()
Don't feel sorry for Titan owners. Feel sorry for non titan owners who can't afford one or can not justify spending that much money on one. Current Titan owners do not deserve sympathy.![]()
as you say, no sympathy warranted or requested![]()

lol... have you not learnt anything about how Nvidia operate?
They are releasing the Titan ultra and very soon as Amd have already sent the Hd 7990 to retailers and performance numbers show that it beats the GTX Titan and GTX690.
Maybe the new Titan will have a TRUE fully unlocked bios which can be modded properly and voltage increased higher than a 106% TDP.
Fully unlocked Cluster....the TRUE GK110!!
