Got the cancellation confirmation from ULM today and promptly went into CPW. I was hell bent on getting it Sim Free but the sales assistant pushed a good deal my way - or at least I think it is
I would consider myself fairly strong minded and not brainwashed easily but the £27 a month on O2 and £149.99 seems *whisper it quietly* alright.
Works out at £798 over the course of the contract and with my current setup on gg (£12/mnth) I would be out £868 - assuming the phone was costing £579.99
So the assistant had an argument and I know they get crazy commission for contracts because my best friend worked for them for a while but he did have a point, or not, I don't know!
Also, in good old Northern Ireland it's pretty much a toss up between O2 and Vodafone - EE and 3 are virtually non existent (for 3g coverage anyway) so that does limit the options a bit.

) so before HSBC cancelled the card and issued me a new one I rang up Chitter Chatter to get them to take out card payment early as it will be 5-7 working days till I get my new card. Long story short is that the lady on the phone didn't know when stock would arrive. I asked if it would be Saturday and she said it was unlikely and would probably be later. I was under the impression it would be arriving on Friday and being dispatched for Saturday delivery!!??
