Another highly suspicious dietary food suppliment/ plan...

At my work at the moment it's some sort of "shake plan" where they are on 600 calories a day. 4 shakes a day and they contain all the vitamins etc you need. They also have food bars and meals that you can buy. Limited carbs, something about the body going in a state of something or other than burns fat. One girl lost 6lbs in 2 days, it does seem to be working for them....i'm just waiting until they start eating properly again. :D
I did this and it does work (and works fast) but you'll only keep the weight off if you make changes to your eating habbits when you come off it.

They sell something very similar at Holland and Barretts called "Zero Noodle"
yea they are just shirtaki noodles to
from the shirtaki noodles wiki page...
oh look the konjac plant same **** it says on those zero noodles
The glucomannan noodles come from the root of an Asian plant called konjac (full name Amorphophallus konjac). It has been nicknamed the elephant yam, and also called konjaku, konnyaku, or the konnyaku potato.

Only an idiot buys over priced zero/miracle noodles.
Just goto a japanese store or maybe even the chinese ones...

You should print some labels up saying "zero water" "miracle water" and stick them on bottles of evian (read that backwords if you never noticed before) and swap the labels , charge £5 a bottle to all the stupid women you work with.

It's pretty much what zero noodles and miracle noodles are doing

For the most part they still work on the food pyramid demonising fats and praising carbs, that alone says that you should take most of what they say with a large dose of salt.

Yeah I mean why listen to the regulated health professionals when you can just pick and choose from any number of unregulated/unqualified 'nutritionists' and simply find one who's in line with whatever beliefs you already held.

BUT THEY HAVE AN INFOMERCIAL! WITH FANCY TV VOICES AND EVERYTHING!

No one mentioned listening to a 'nutritionist', doing some reading on the subject including current research and making your own decision on the other hand is a sensible idea.
Blindly following any one source of information whether it's a regulated health professional or not when it comes to something as fast paced as nutrition is daft.

High fibre noodles would be good for most people, as iirc a majority of the western population are fibre deficient (obviously not paying stupid prices).

(assuming they are high fibre).

they are made from
Shirataki (白滝?, often written with the hiragana しらたき) are very low carbohydrate, low calorie, thin, translucent, gelatinous traditional Japanese noodles made from devil's tongue yam (elephant yam or the konjac yam).[1] The word "shirataki" means "white waterfall", describing the appearance of these noodles. Largely composed of water and glucomannan, a water-soluble dietary fiber, they have little flavor of their own.

They used to be sold by Holland and Barret, but I never seen a single packet in stores, when I wondered about it, was told that they simply don't know why this product disappeared... But yeah kinda not too keen on them now...

people probably caught on to the fact they are just over priced shirtaki noodles :D

Just eat rice.

18p lidl noodles are the bomb! Gotta put a chicken cuppa soup in. and some curry powder.

1 cuppa soup packet to 2 noodle blocks. My flatmate puts a few dairy lee triangles into the mix and some smoked sausage. Quite the feast. None of us are fat. We also eat other meals too. Different ones each day in fact. and sometimes (admittedly rarely :P) we leave the house. Works well.

Eat a balanced healthy meal, go on a run

I don't see the point of fad dieting to lose weight fast when you don;t have enough self control to stick to that weight.

Rather be with a chubby/fat bird than a yoyo dieter tbh, i bet they are far happier and have far more energy to burn off in the sack

NHS dieticians? If so the NHS is so massively behind the curve on anything involving nutrition it's stupid.

I knew an NHS dietician and she was really fat. I often wondered what her patients must think when she is telling them they need to eat properly and lose weight.

Good tip, but not so good on the diet front

Lidl Noodles = 171 kcal per serving (108g)
Dairylee Triangles = 48 kcal per triangle

So if you have 2 servings of noodles (which I am guessing is 2 packs) and 5 cheese triangles, that combination is already up to 514 kcal. Then add the cup a soup (low cal) approx 95kcal and then the sausage (approx 100kcal per 30g dependent on type/brand etc) you are already 600kcal+ for the whole thing

Divide it by 2 and yeah 300kcal, but the portion probably isnt that big and you could have a bowl of homemade soup (inc veg and meat etc) for less than 200kcal

I am losing weight at the moment and I don't bother calorie counting. Just being sensible and common sense with what you eat, coupled with decent excercise.

Nothing wrong too with the odd Dominos or McDonalds once a week.

Dieting extremes are just stupid. Your body needs carbs, fat etc to stay healthy.

Losing weight is such simple science,

People are goddamn morons who don't want to put the work in to calculate their calorific intake.

So so so so so REWTARDTEWTDD!¬!! GFOR3Q9JIJWEFNJKEWF

My advice - eat what you like but dont eat anything to excess. Also try to balance your diet across all food groups. I.E. eat meat, eat vegatables, eat fruit, eat nuts, eat sugar, eat fat e.t.c e.t.c. but don't go overboard on any of them.

simple

I follow this as well. Can't understand people who stick to 1 food group, pretty sure whilst it won't cause you damage your body isn't getting all the things required to keep you feeling good.
