Has anyone spoken to MobileFun? I would call them but I am in USA at the moment...
On Twitter, MobileFun posted yesterday that they were still on course for the 26th and would have enough stock to fulfil pre-orders.
Am I the only one who doesn't give a crap it's plastic? The plastic feels fine, doesn't feel "cheap". Plus 99% of them will be in a case so why does it even matter? My SGS2 was criticised because it was made from plastic but it's still in once piece despite being out of a case and it doesn't get cold in winter![]()
On the phone with T-Mobile now... no one is getting an S4 from them this Friday
They are dispatching them starting Saturday, so the absolute earliest we will get them is Monday but likely later. I ordered on 3rd May and I'm not in the first batch.
Currently on hold while they work out what compensation they are going to give me...
Ordered end of last month with 3 :D[/QUOTE]
That was last month what have they said today? ;)
I'm with you. I understand metal looks nicer in some cases (HTC One for example) but once my S4 is in a case, will it really matter?
You ordered in the future?![]()

I don't think people really care too much about the material used but the finish/texture that Samsung go for in comparison to HTC with the one X and nokia with their handsets, you don't see any/many reviews/users complaining about them.
Imo the finish/design is what gives a "cheap" look/feel, not the material itself. I am more than happy with "plastic" and a phone being made out of aluminium wouldn't be important enough to sway me towards one device completely.
And I think it is more so just because people are getting tired of the glossy plastic and similar design since they have been using it since the GS 1 and just want "change" especially when they see what the competition are coming out with.
