BMW E46 330i SE

Thanks Paradigm, I've been looking through eBay, purposely trying to find the alloys without the correct name in hope to get them a little cheaper.

Two very minor changes, as I am bringing the E46 back to standard I have removed the lip spoiler and managed to get hold of the "i" part of the badge;

Next step is tyres, I've narrowed it down to the below. They are all pretty much a muchness with regards to price.

225/45W17 all round (as I am selling the MV1's with the awesome Linglongs).

Pirelli P6000 - £107.50
Continental Sport Contact 5 - £110.00
Dunlop SP Sport 01 - £110.00
Michelin Pilot Sport 3 - £117.30

Or should I be looking at any others?

Also, what should I be looking to pay for an Inspection II Service for a 330i? I went into BMW Rybrook Worcester and the servicing guy just gave me a breakdown of the costs, he didn't seem that competent and couldn't provide me with an overall cost as he wasn't sure of what was required. There's a 20% discount due my car being older than 4/5 years old (Fox to correct this in 3...2...1...) :D

P6000 are at least a 10 year old design and material since my very first car came with a couple-year-old set!

I found them awful in the wet back then, before I had any experience of any other tyre or car.

Anybody know when the P6000 came out?

Too long ago - as noted everywhere above they are awful

Are there still £50 of fuel vouchers available with F1 Assym 2's? If so that's where my money would be going

Are the rear tyres not wider?

Not sure, the 18's that are on it currently are wider at the rear, however having checked my car it says that 225/45W17 are suitable all round.

Rodenal - I have checked HotUKDeals and it doesn't appear to be on there anymore, sadface.jpg

Our 325i at home has 225's all round, no idea how it doesn't spin the tyres up as my 330 with 255's on the back will when i hit the torque curve if they are remotely cold (sessantas)

I run sessantas on my ts3 330ci and its quite rare that I get any DSC activity - even when pushing it a bit. I couldn't even get the wheels to light up much when it was stock.

Maybe I have too much mechanical sympathy.
