Its been through a rough time with no protection either.
Its often been loose in my laptop bag with keys and other hard metal objects.

I can see there is someone confused about the ROM not being flashable. Have no fear, there is no such thing. The only way to make the ROM not possible to flash is to "solder" it into the hardware, which is never the case (not in the past decade or so anyway).

T-mobile doesn't have off the shelf unlimited data contract, so you must have gotten a special deal here. Three, however offers unlimited data to anyone off the shelf.

Erm, yes they do... Their "Full Monty" plans with unlimited data start at £26 per month.

My nearest depot is 6 miles away - almost in Central London. I won't be getting it for a while yet.
