*** The Official Samsung Galaxy S4 Thread ***

Nothing wrong with a white charger, how often do you have the plug end on display? Exactly :)

My Note II charger is white as well.

This means the Note 3 could be weather sealed from day 1 then if they're using the S4 to...test the waters (:D).

Indeed stoosh, not to mention they will have the exynos version coming out here at some point too iirc.....

Although, chances are, you won't be able to access the battery, which will probably put people of.

Hopefully HTC don't do the same and release more or less the same devices.....

Ordered from 3 on Tuesday and delivered today, liking the phone compared to my S2 a lot!
I have to agree. I really liked my S2 and didn't feel a need to upgrade but after having the S4 in my hand it is really nice. Was thinking of selling it on but being able easily control my TV from it has got me... I'm forever loosing the remote. ;)

How very HTC-esque of them! :p

Maybe Samsung have taken a little bit of Apple and thrown some HTC in the mix ;)

I'd be extremely annoyed if I had shelled out over £530 for a phone only to find out that there's a new version coming out not long afterwards. I wonder if it will retain the same shape or will it be like a proper rugged phone. For sure there won't be a removable battery but there should be a protected slot for the SD card a la Sony.

HTC said that there will only be "one" flagship released this year, but I wouldn't put it past them to bring out a One+ they've done this sort of thing far too many times in the past.

Can see it being more or less the same design/shape.

Dread to think what price it will be though.,......

Yup expecting to see a HTC one + in 3 or so months time :o :D :p

I hope Samsung take design cues from the Sony Xperia Z. The price will be through the roof considering the premium Samsung are charging for the Snapdragon version of the phone. When the Exynos version is eventually released I wonder if that will be slightly more expensive.

Oh god I hope not, if HTC were to release a One+ soon I would go bolo  :p

Likewise, but I very much doubt it :( Can't see them doing anything different till next year :(

I can see the exynos version being pretty expensive! Definitely more than the SD version anyway, Shortages + taking a while to mass produce the chipset = not good for the consumer :p

Shame really as that would be an ideal chance for Samsung to show that they can design a decent phone, but I think you're right you won't see a different design until next year. Although if the rumours are true I'm looking forward to the Note 3 and how that will look.

What's with these shortages anyway? I thought Samsung said they went with the plastic design because it was easy to manufacture en mass? So why the shortages? I don't understand :(

It will be interesting to see how much Samsung will charge for the Exynos version and whether it will be worth it. No doubt the pros and cons of Exynos vs Snapdragon will rage on not only on this forum but other forums as well.
