Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [26 - 29th April 2013]

Oh Gad! Winner takes all (although a draw sees Doncaster up). I've had trouble sleeping this whole week, haven't been able to concentrate on anything and having nightmares - last night I dreamt that we sold our best striker to Birmingham last night and we missed out on promotion... find out today that he pulled up in training and may miss the game :(

Bag of nerves for the next 23.5 hours!

Either a draw or a win Arsenal this weekend against Utd please, cant afford to drop more points. Hopefully Fergie will give us a hand for getting CL football next season:p.

This guard of honour thing must be the biggest non-story in the history of football (well ok maybe not), why WOULDN'T Arsenal be holding a GoH for MU? How incredibly ****ing petty/stupid would they look if they didn't? It certainly wouldn't be the first time rival clubs have done it.

Yes, I'm sure RvP will get some flak from the crowd, just as every single season in living memory we've seen players get flak from opposing fans, but the idea that the club would kowtow to that and somehow seek to snub RvP is ludicrous.

Ill be gutted if Watford don't go up. They're the best playing side in the Champ.

they are definitely the team i am scared of in the playoffs. Played very well against us earlier in the season. (i would rather play Hull:p)

Also, it will be fun when they go up, and have no players next season;)

This Anya fella looks quite good.

Watched the game, Leicester were terrible in the first half and Watford could have scored more.

Leicester came out and played much better in the second half, much more direct and Watford looked shell shocked for long periods but Leicester being inept and Watford being just solid enough to hold on to the lead got them some well deserved points in my opinion.

Sheffield Wednesday need a win this weekend, but I will be more than happy with a point in all honesty.

Looking forward to the Arsenal v Manchester United game although I can see Fergie resting players and letting fringe and young players have more game time in the last few games this season and that could start against Arsenal.
