What film did you watch last night?

Ruby Sparks. I liked it. I liked that there was only really one way a story like this - writer with writer's block writes about his dream girl who then comes to life and lives with him - could go, and the writers had the guts to go there. I also liked the somewhat ambiguous ending.

Soldier of fortune - I knew it would be terrible, and it didn't disappoint. Really.. just don't bother.

Shame - Still trying to decide what to make of this. Pretty good, pretty sad I suppose for someone to become like that. Couldn't help but think "Fassbender, you lucky *******" for getting the part lol. A bit like 'Drive' in the way things are filmed and the dialogue, but Drive is the much better film.

Django Unchained.

Bloody brilliant. Loved it. Great acting from Foxx and Waltz, some very funny moments and all in all one of the best movies i've seen in ages.

9/10.

I watched Iron Man 3 earlier (school hours are great for watching a film without kids:p)

I'd rate it a 7/10 or maybe 8/10

Very enjoyable and nicely done action film, with some movement on the main character, and some humour :)

Movie 43

I know it has a 4/10 rating on IMDB, I know it tanked hard at the box office, I know its considered a terrible movie, but I had to see it for myself. Dear god IMDB oversold it, never in human history has any film done so little with so much talent, pretty much everybody in it is a known actor/actress, its supposed to be funny, but it just isn't, the only part that is even slightly numerous relies entirely on racism, and that's just sad.

1/10, a genuine contender for worst film I have ever seen purely because it had so much potential its difficulty to see how the writers managed to screw it up so badly.

The Last Stand

Arnie's return, a pretty cool film, very silly but then what 80's action film wasn't, its entertaining, you don't have to think too much and the are a lot of cool one liners and subtle references, IE:
Arnie laughing at the Conan sword in Knoxvilles weapons museum and his deputy telling him "you never know"

6.5/10.

Oblivion. Was this is Olympus has Fallen and I think I chose correctly. I was worried the trailers might have spoiled it but they didn't really. I loved that it was just so Cinematic in scope and the scenery was amazing. In typical Hollywood style the ending was a bit too clean cut.

Texas Chainsaw.
Having seen the others and being a fan I had negative feels expectations for this one. Apart from some decent eye candy it was more of a teen slasher with average acting and special gore effects.

Oblivion

Meh, was alright. Film looks great, but the story line felt a little too.. patched. It didn't feel smooth. The spoilers were fairly obvious from the beginning. 6/10
