Do you stereotype?

It depends on how the stereotype is formed.

From genine observation, facts, data - or as a result of bias and prejudice.

Stereotypes which are demonstrably false should be called out & those which are correct in most cases should be given leeway to change when confronted with evidence to proove otherwise (as on average does not mean all the time).

Wooooosh!
I was wondering how many more people would post about that obvious joke :p - saved me writing it lol.

This is a big topic, but do you stereotype others, because they are poor, or have certain look, come from a certain area, have a certain accent, disposition etc.

I have done it in the past but it brings you nothing but misery, the old adage, 'What goes round comes round', applies.

The majority of Asians who fall under the desi and 786 band camp do stereotype and discriminate others too. If they say they don't then they're chatting through their rear end

They are stereotypes for a reason, the majority of time they are correct.

Fat people are lazy.

Americans are loud.

Hipsters are annoying.

I guess you could call it "common traits" too, which does exist to some sort of degree. I think the problem lies with people using stereo-types as the face value of someone and also tarring all people with stereo-types willy nilly. You can't base your judgement of someone based on them alone.

I judge badly dressed people.. black people.. short people.. people with bad haircuts.. ugly people..

im pretty average when it comes to stereotyping.. its pretty normal tbfh
