I personally think the only way to resolve this is to have a OcUK fight club meet. We can then have a definitive list and ranking system.

They're only hard up in Glasgow. :p

If your looking for trouble head to Glasgow yes, you will find it there, overall it's a lovely city though. Lived there for six years.

I am from Glasgow, and have run with the toughest, Steven Segal asks me when to visit

Wouldn't this be an awesome meet?

Yep, OK that's it Gilly started it, lets all meet up and have a Barney, location of your choices gentlemen :D

I hit a guy so hard one time his mother had phantom pains, his twin died 3 days later in an unrelated industrial accident and his house fell down. but I often wonder if I just hit him too damn hard...

glaswegians, blah, paddy scotch man pulls a knife on me and I'll gang rape his family tree with a bottle of bucky.

It's not how "hard are you?" that's stupid. It's asking about if someone is going camping and how his tent is. You ask "how 'ard are you?"

Big difference, 'ard isn't about certs and size. It's purely how far you are willng to go, I mean don't bring me outside and not not finsh it.......

'cuz I'll put you to kip.

I'm always looking for a fight, 1 Little thing and i will pounce on them and start a fight. A women knocked my trolly in asda once and i stared down her eyes for about 30 seconds. She then walked away cause she knew i was going to be trouble.

Srs story

Used to fight a lot when I was in my late teens, mostly Football matches against other supporters, early 80's, Also had a fair few straighteners as in 1 on 1s, lost some and won some, against a few guys who were considered "Hard" Funniest one was I got one punch knocked out by a guy I never knew, found out who he was where he lived, went round that night and asked for a rematch.. He beat me again, thankfully no knock out the 2nd time lol, ended up good mates soon after.

Last straight fight was when I was 40, dropped a guy in work who was basically a bully always picking on lads, he squared up to me, I didn't talk just butted him to the floor and and pounded him a few times, Everyone seen him cry like a women so burst his hard man bubble.. lost me my job of ten years though so not a good outcome.

45 now and a lot less direct, (think before I act) plus the fact i'd last about 2 minutes in a real extended fight.

Some people only understand physical persuasion, it's never the best option but in certain circumstances it's sometimes the only option.

thought i was hard all my teenage life never lost a fight till one day i was headbutted straight in the face aged 17, on my own doorstep by a nutter cos i wouldnt let him in to party with us as i didnt like him, no chance to defend myself it was just instant thuggish brutality, he knocked out about 80% of one of my front teeth and then as i laid on my own kitchen floor drunk and battered he was yelling at me to get a knife or something and try to fight him. Scary experience and ive been afraid of fighting ever since. Losing a front tooth was a real bad time.

One of my mates went and battered him on the same day but then a few days after i had his mates knocking at the door after revenge and they chased me through my own house i had to lock myself in the bathroom while they stole my stuff.

Ive been a massive scaredy cat ever since. I would only fight if mine or my friends lives depended on it.

If there were in the world today any large number of people who desired to be hard, more than they wanted to be hard, we could all be hard within a few years.
- Bertrand Russell (essay on hardness).
