*** League of Legends ***

Tom, it was absolutely fine and the first game was great. We never really got to grips with the Ahri charm in bottom lane and those first couple of kills were pretty cruicial.

The second game as soon as we saw you guys having a bit of fun with the builds (tank team) we decided we'd prefer to continue our ranked team progression.

Always happy to play with you guys again in a 5v5 scrim though :)

Yeah, but the thing i was annoyed at, i like you guys, and his attitude doesn't make us look good.

But yeah the first game was good, in mid nothing really happened, just i got killed by the jungler and after that orianna was always around 40 cs ahead of me, second time playing lissandra so was always gonna be at a disadvantage there.

Second game, we were all gonna play normally, but that guy kept saying lets just go double bruiser kill lane at bot, i wasn't happy about it, because it's not fun to play against and you can't really learn from it.

next time we'll play it'll be a different team, some of those were just people to fill in so we could have two teams.

Thanks for the game last night, sorry about that complete moron, he's been given a warning in our community.

Other than that, i enjoyed our 5v5 and the ARAM i played with you guys.

Your other team absolutely raped us in the other 5v5. But we hadn't played as a team before, one of them never at all! Not that it would have helped. We got out mechanics'd in every lane. poop

They were the better team in our community, most of us don't actualy play as a 5v5 team, we've just had a lot of experience together.

I recently left my 5v5 team, was taking up to much of my time and i want to progress in solo que and do otherthings.

but i enjoyed the interaction of the communitys, would be cool to play some more, swap the teams around next time, like the 5 im in vs your team next time.

Aram is great....

But the only problem i can see is that as it now is an official game mode, people might start try harding and rage at people that play badly and get upset when they lose.....

They were doing that even when it was a custom game mode :p

yea we'll sort something eventually. On the whole I just like the idea of making the ocuk lol community larger.

Agreed, I think we all now understand that we each have teams that we are trying to develop but it is really good if there are people available to play with outside of this and the more people the more likely you will get your 5

One way is via the mumble server, I am quite happy for any ocuk lol player to use this and also their friends that they can vouch for. It is meant to be a kind of glue that everyone can use without the rigid restrictions that clans can bring. So if anyone here wants the details just holler.

Also remember that OCUK has a game channel that people are always in but we almost get no chat/no request for players nothing - come on people talk :)

Anyway hope to have more 5v5's between you guys. We tend to play 8.30/9+

Troll games are fine as long as declared first, personally I only get a couple of games a night so prefer to try and learn - been playing this game so long and still could learn more :(

Although i'm in Division Gaming, i'll still play with you guys occasionally :)

Yeah i understand, we can get some scrims sometime and give eachother valuable feedback that may help eachother improve.

I need to jump on with you guys more, net seems to be working a lot better recently.

Still get the occasional dropout but nowt I can do about that :(

Just make it clear if you do have dropout's - nature of the game is if you disconnect then in most cases that will be a waste of time for your other 4 colleagues

I've played 2 games with you, the first one you never connected at all after champion select and were intermittently disconnecting from mumble and the 2nd time you disconnected once we all loaded in. Each game was 45+ minutes long during which time you never came back, not even later in the night to explain or apologize. As a result myself and a few others have said that we don't really have an interest in playing with you anymore (although I'd probably still do an aram or somesuch).

I'm not trying to offend with this post, simply informing you that I wouldn't call your internet randomly dying for hours at a time "occasional dropouts". :)

I'm glad you think so, I was extremely annoyed when I learned what was said after the games last night (I spectated both of them with a few of my group and the skill difference and level in your game was certainly not enough to be acting as he did. I really dislike people like that). Happy to hear it was just one person being an idiot rather then the general attitude of your group. Scrims always work better in a positive, ideally learning, environment anyway. Otherwise what's the difference in just playing a normal game instead? On that note tals, as before we are always open to scrimming against you aswell but only at your behest (for obvious reasons).

In other, less drama filled news, beat Giants Morden and a few of his mates again today. Always funny to see pro players in your games :D

Would be good to scrim you guys but I'm pretty sure the outcome will be us getting stomped :p

Personally like Wingsofdeathx and Crs Voyboy as streamers, as they are quite talkative during gameplay and answer a lot of chat questions.

Haven't seen Wings streaming in a while actually come to think of it but yea, Voyboy is very vocal as he plays, explains a lot of the actions and items he chooses so i would recommend it highly for anyone learning to toplane.

Other than them i've started watching xPeke a lot recently, also a very entertaining streamer and talks you through it.
But if i had to pick a stream for pure entertainment it'd be Krepo when he's duo-queueing with Yellowpete. They just play to have fun and it really shows on the streams, had me in stitches a few times. But be warned, some of the puns that come out of there are facepalm worthy...
