You always get this though, people complaining about issues, because they come to the internet to discuss these things and find solutions and others with the same problem ... whereas people don't often come to the internet to say they're not having problems, they just get on with life and enjoy their phone / new device whatever it is lol

Exactly! Although the GS 3 SD issue was a "true" major problem that affected pretty much everyone since it was related to hardware and/or software. But the stuff like screen, build issues varies a lot.



Has chrome had an update to fix the rendering/font issue recently??? Much better now :eek: Still have some stupid font issues on threads though i.e.

what settings are you using for the font size on the stock touchwiz browser kona?
 
@Nexus Yep one of the first things I did was calibrate the keyboard because it was supposedly one of the workarounds for the capacitive buttons not working. I certainly don't have fat sausage fingers in fact if I may say so myself my fingers are like piano players fingers! LOL! :D

I'm trying my best to keep away from that site, its unbelievable what goes on there and like you some of the posts are IMO so infuriating that I'm tempted to reply but common sense gets the better of me and usually prevails. :)

Samsung are genius when it comes to the bezel and I'm sure that kona will agree that the front of S4 looks amazing especially with the thin bezel and gorgeous SAMOLED screen :D

That website is in allegiance with Samsung they would never post anything bad, I wonder if the latest problems with the pink display, red tint and smearing will make it there? Somehow I doubt it.

Mate that gap thing with the HO was so badly dealt with by HTC that many people including me fell for it. HTC advertised the HO as a gap less device which was wrong they should've advertised it as gap less back. It didn't help that HTC themselves admitted that any device exhibiting these gaps should be returned to the place where it was purchased from and exchanged.

The few issues that Samsung had with the S4 will be ironed out with possibly a firmware update or via manufacturing process, no doubt Samsung will come good though as this time around there is more competition!

Yeah that's cheating Nexus - as that makes other websites look a right mess. :p

Samsung have got the text boost thing under control unlike Chrome which is what I wanted to say.
 
Haven't tried other sites yet, just this forum as it is what I browse the most :o :p

Ah! Yup, it looks much better, can't stand that issue with chrome and firefox :mad:

here's the samsung browser with text scaling at 100% (default) and text boost off and on, very clever:

It is a shame that ads ruin the majority of web sites these days, adblock works well but it is a bit iffy and messes up certain things i.e. for some reason sometimes youtube comments won't load in the official app......
 
FAO Redfox in particular: my Galaxy S4 arrived from Unlocked Mobiles today.

Correction, my German Galaxy S4. I had to take off a few German apps including Bild and Mytaxi. When my sister got her phone, it came with a two-pin plug that transformed into a three-pin with a flexible third pin that could lie flat or at 90 degrees. Mine came with a two-pin plug, a separate black three-pin plug and two USB charging cables: a short white one and an ever so slightly longer black one.

With the black lead plugged into the supplied three-pin plug, the overall length is slightly shorter than my S2 mains charger.
