Insurance Dilemma - to be honest or not?

I am in one of the most secure camps in the UK - nothing will happen to my car!

Do they know this?

Not sure how it works, but if you explain than you work on a military camp and that your car is parked there when working, they may be able to do something for you...

Yeah. Be careful with that.

It shouldn't be a problem. My house is my home and my workplace is where I work. They still know that the majority of the time my bike/car will be where I work because I told them that's where it's stored.

To the OP, if in doubt just ring them and explain the situation and they should best advise you on what to do in your circumstance.

I believe I have had a brain of waves....

I have a friend that live RIGHT outside the gate - but it is a slightly different postcode. If I get her permission to park outside her house, then I can give the insurers that address as that will be where the car is overnight?

All legit and awesome?

What a load of crap, op just put your home as leicester. Lets say worst case scenario you have a crash in london, so what? How are they to know that you don't normally get the train when you are down there for extended periods of time?
Irony is, they are happy for you to drive from leicester to london every day and drive back (higher chance of an accident) but leave your car on a secure military base overnight somehow in their eyes carries a higher risk?!
It's one of those ridiculous 'computer says no' situations where common sense doesn't apply.

I have rang them, and this is when it causes problems - they either wont insure me or the premium sky rockets!
