Sadly no O2 signal here at all, and tied in on my T-Mobile sim only plan, ideally need the phone sim free and unlocked!
No sign of Redfox; not sure if that means he now has his phone and is busy playing with it or that he's gone on a rampage
haha finally got it delivered this morning so had to pop home from my flat to my parents to get it this evening. All appears to be well, no screen issues or anything so just need to figure out how this whole android business works.
Any particular computer software that people use for managing thier phone when its plugged into their compter for transferring music contacts etc?
Annoyingly my iphone 3gs is refusing to sync its contacts to to the PC/gmail so not quite sure how I am going to transfer everything without doing it manually...

Still be cheaper than buying it sim-free and good chance it will come unlocked. If it's locked, just buy a code from ebay (when they are available) or ask O2 to unlock.

This. I'd just use Windows Explorer or I quite often use an app called Wifi File Transfer, gives you an address, type it into your PC (and favourite it) and then you just start and stop the server on your phone and you can use wifi to transfer files ... Use this often for a few small pics and things
yeah I had that issue, what you need to do is get itunes to sync with outlook or windows contacts then sync that with gmail and then keep your contacts with google and you can sync them to iphones/android handsets/WP8 etc.
Its a one off irritation to make the pain go away,

So last night i set my alarm and put it on charge, luckily i woke up before my alarm was due to go off
I took the phone off charge and the green led was on but nothing would work, the screen wouldnt come on and the power button wouldnt work to shut the phone down. Imassume it froze up and my alarm wouldnt have gone off
So i had to remove the battery and it turned back on ok
Any idea why this might have happened? Hopefully just a funny 5 minutes, never had it with my s3

kinda hoped it was a rare one off thingI always turn off the wifi and mobile data before i go to bed but did on my s3 too

So I'm four days into my new phone, after several years of iPhones (4, 4S and 5) My last Android devices were a HTC Magic then a Nexus One, I did have an S2 for about a week but for some reason i just couldn't get on with it..... :/
The screen size of the iPhones has been bugging me for a while now, and the fact that the it hasn't actually changed much since, well, forever made me think its time to go back to the green side.
So far I am loving the S4.
Already binned Touchwiz in favour of Nova Launcher and much prefer Swiftkey over the stock Samsung keyboard (for now anyway!) Though I've read Swype is very good too.
First impressions after 4 days with the phone....
- Awesome camera - Love the gif mode!
- Great screen - Though not fantastic in bright sunlight as i found out this weekend! lol
- Love the look of it
- Android seems more refined since i last had an Android device.
- Tweaking and personalization seems to have come a long way
- Forgot how much I missed widgets! lol
- Battery life isn't as good as the iP5 - But it does seem to be getting better now I've let it run out a couple of times....
So far i am very happy!

Has anyone on the Three network managed to update their firmware on Kies ?
With mine the current firmware version is greyed out, when I go to tools and firmware upgrade and initialisation, I get GT-I9505 does not support initialising error.
