One random question, friend got an S3 a few weeks back, and I nticed when its charging there's abig blue light on the top that flashes on & off, is there one on the S4 and can it be turned off if so? If I do end up getting an S4 and it flashes all night while charging, she won't be happy as she notices things like that!!

as when I routed my nexus 7 it didn't work thats why I reverted to stock.

So looks like stock it is then for now

solid red when charging. Cant be turned off without additional software but its quite a soft red, I dont notice it at all at night.

Yep. It's a lot less intrusive at night compared to the S3 one, which I had to turn off. I think it flashes if you have a notification on the S3, not noticed it doing it on the S4.

just downloaded and reverted my o2 s4 to stock.

i think i will hold off for root, until better custom roms/kernels start to appear.

Home screen sorted for now. Always liked the Droid DNA.

Just need to order screen protectors, case and get insurance sorted.

How is the back of the case? I am looking for something that isnt too slippery (ie, can rest on edge of sofa, or on knee without sliding off too easily). The one I have for my iphone is rubbery and slick to surfaces.

Oh is there a difference in class of micro sd card? Looking at one of them on OcUK which is class 10.

I'm having some issues with my S4.

The stock clock isn't working and I can't change my SMS notifications as android.process.media has stopped

I may be rooting sooner than expected
