Is that method for rooted phones as after I press "1 and then ok" i just get another line of text on the screen NOT another menu

Which means chances are the "zoom" will also be true......

Going to be interesting to see how Samsung handle updates/support now with all these models coming out not to mention when the note III hits, could have the same amount of versions as the GS 4 line.
 
Great pictures there kona, thanks for taking the time out to make the comparisons.

I like the colours in the S4 version, the HO looks more natural and the Z is somewhere between the two. The low light shots the HO comes out on top but there's no surprise there :D

Am glad that you got your S4 finally unlocked, did you manage to debrand and flash the latest ROM?

Can you please tell me how much RAM is used in comparison to your S3 LTE when you first boot up? Is it about the same? Thanks in advance :)

I sent the HO back today, gotta love the Rainforest return policy! :D

Two more days left until the Google I/O if Google and Motorola don't come through then I'll be joining the S4 club! :cool:

Yes indeed there's a very real chance for the zoom to be released in the near future

My guess is that Samsung will have their hands full when it comes to releasing updates for all the variants, let's hope they release the updates in a timely manner! ;)

Yeah I'm so chuffed it's unlocked now. Didn't flash MDM as I can't DL it lol. Give up 'cos it's so slow to DL too. Will wait a bit till there's more roms and a better root method and do it all in one go. If you do it before me then I'll be asking for your assistance :D

Will check the RAM for you next time I restart mate - no issues with RAM usage on the S4 though.

I think the Moto will have a 720p screen - will that put you off?
 
What did I say long before you could even buy any of these phones stoosh ;) :D :p


I don't think we will see any moto phone at the i/o event :( Unfortunately I think moto are going to be too late to the party as usual. Hope I am wrong though.

That's a bummer :( Where are you trying to download MDM from? Sammobile?

The ROMs will eventually be made available, it's just a waiting game for the Devs to their hands on the S4 and get working on it! It'll happen for sure :)

That's good to know that there's no RAM usage on the S4 that was my mine concern primarily due to the additional bloat that's on the official ROM.

We'll know soon enough about the Moto phone, there's all sorts of rumours flying around, if it does have a 720p screen and hardware similar or equal to the N4 then yes i'll bypass the phone and buy the S4 instead :cool:

I have to wait for Rainforest to process my refund and get the funds back into the account before I buy it though. It gives me time to weigh up the options :cool:

I was going to get that screen protector but stuck to a standard cheap plastic one instead


Got my S4 this morning :D Seems good at first impressions ... What's the best way to check for the screen tint issue? What do I do and what / where do I look for the issue?

I concur with you was reading an article on phonearena and the head of Google Sundar Pichai said that Google I/O will focus on devs and not hardware.

What's the delay with the "X" phone? There's all sorts of rumours circulating that Google have jumped off the project and left Moto to their own devices?

I certainly hope that the "X" phone or some sort of phone from Moto makes an appearance otherwise they'll be playing catch up again.

Just to let you know that the HO went back because HTC didn't satisfy my query in regards to the camera and told me to take it back and get a replacement. I'm certainly not going with a fourth phone! :eek:
