Hi

Is it possible to make things save automatically to my D drive? C drive is a small ssd and I want to keep it for windows (obviously) and a game or two but absolutely nothing else. As it is some things seem to end up there and I don't always get the choice to choose drives.

many thanks

Well just anything really, things just seem to accumulate on my small C drive. I want documents, adobe stuff, skype and whatnpt to all go to my D drive.

Would it be possible to put internet explorer in there to or must that be on C drive?

Thanks

Stuff like IE and etc has to be on C drive since they're hardcoded that way.

As for user documents and etc, you can move your library to another drive or location by opening your user documents, click on the small arrow next to Documents on the left side, right click on My Documents, select Properties, go to Location and change it from there.

I have a 60gb ssd also,what programs won't install to the d drive?

most things you can change things like utorrent, not sure on internet explorer unless you installed firefox or another third party web browser to the d drive

Cheers guys, have changed documents and what not to D drive, will keep an eye out for other stuff that I can divert there.

And sometimes you don't seem to get the option to change destination folders which is annoying.

you can move the many many small files from web browsing to another drive using a location setting in internet options > general . browsing history . settings 'move location (at least in older IE )
