Has anyone with the S4 ran SunSpider on Chrome and also Chrome beta?

Can't seem to find any results for the beta version online, curious as to how the two versions compare on the S4.

ive run it a number of times on both and its low 1300's for chrome and high 1300s for chrome beta. nothing much in it on my i9505. interestingly enough, that's slower all-round than chrome beta was on my s2

How are people finding multitasking on these? I asked a similar question on the HTC forum but I know the S4 has many features over the ONE which takes up RAM. How well does the browser get kept in the memory for example, and do apps frequently have to reload? My sister is thinking of getting a new phone and it between the S4 and HTC one. Performance is critical over features.

you had a duff S4 then, or atleast one on old software.

Meh, i updated it to the latest firmware available at the time. The ONE is genuinely a lot smoother and faster at everything than my S3 and the S4's i had briefly ever were ( I had 3 x S4's...they cant all have been duff performance wise, as well as screen wise)

There's a lot to love hehe.

So true, still can't get over the screen Mate, it's gorgeous :D

Finally eh? lol So are you going to join the S4 club? ;)

Good to hear that you are getting on with the GS 4 stoosh and don't have any problems with the new one  Maybe some day HTC will win you over for good! :p

Thanks Nexus, it's all going well so far and am still tinkering with the set up as I haven't quite got it set up how I want it. Shame about HTC I really gave the HO a good shot but it wasn't to be. There's always next year eh? The HO successor might just to the trick :p

Have you taken off your cover from the HOS? You must be looking forward to the 4.2 update since it brings the gorgeous Sense 5 experience to your phone. Maybe you even might get a shot take pictures using Zoe? :D

All I can say is that I have both phones and there's nothing in it. I have had the One slow down to a crawl on some rare occasions.

Both are fast and smooth and they will only get better with software updates.

Battery is about on par with my S3 on a custom Rom and kernel.

Easily 4hrs screen on time over a day.

All in all just a little better than the s3 from my use soo far.

Maybe... :p

How are you finding the battery life?

You're hard to pin down to get an answer :D Am actually very impressed with the restraint you've shown so far lol :p

The battery life so far seems pretty decent, I haven't had the phone long (since Friday) so I have to give it time to bed in properly but the way it's going I am impressed. Idle standby is bout par to the HO I'd say. All in all looking good :)

@kona

How much of a mission was it to take the plastic off the rear camera lens Mate? It took me the best part of 30 mins just to peel the protection off! Grrr :(

HTC TWO (:p) will hopefully have everything done just right

No not yet, been busy with other stuff lately so haven't used my phone too much and plus it is kind of nice having a case on again as I don't have to handle the phone like a newborn baby lol :p :o It is only a matter of time till it comes of though! :p

Indeed, can't wait for it! Earlier on, I read that the X will be getting zoe so the S should as well :D I am so looking forward to zoe the most, should get some epic shots especially when it comes to my cats and the sequence/drama shot  Got bored with the sense apps/setup so have got pretty much stock android running on my S for the time being until sense 5. All in all, I am still loving the one S for everything and can't see myself moving away from it till at least the next lot of phones.

It wasn't a walk in the park thats for sure - took a few minutes lol.

What screen mode do you use yours on mate, I leave mine on Normal as I want to keep it looking more natural.

Also on the screen front - the minimum brightness is noticabley lower than on the S3 - handy for night use.

Hi, but does it interfere ? as there is a hold in the middle of it so doesn't seem to come in the way anyway, i left it on
