I bet it doesn't work very well. At all.![]()
Anyone having any signal issues. Noticed yesterday (after getting an email saying my phone is off) that i keep losing signal. (no signal bars) it doesn't say no network coverage just no signal bars in the triangle. But I am unreachable.
If i try to make a call it kicks back in and the signal comes back. But no-one can reach me until then.
I've just switched to GSM mode to see if its the same
Stock ROM?
That would be faulty - sorry bud.
Mine is all uniform white.
S4 #2 arrived today, putting them side by side it was even more obvious how much of a red/pink tint the bottom half of the screen had when viewed on white/grey backgrounds. I also noticed that the screen is slightly more raised on the left side against the bezel/trim when compared to the second phone.
Must've been made on a Friday at 4:59pm that one![]()

I updated to the new EE firmware (I have an EE S4) and since then the phone has completely changed. I can't write emails properly due to an issue with Swiftkey and I have noticed a massive dip in reception performance, it either doesn't register on EE or stays on GPRS...
I have since downgraded the software and the modem to the previous version and since it seems to be fine.
Mines fine since switching to GSM only.
Luckily I work from home. So am mostly on wifi
Might be worth getting hold of a modem fw file and flashing that just in case something's gone a bit nuts with the copy already on your phone.
Kona,
Have you got your card yet? Mines been despatched today so it look like you were right about delivery tomorrow![]()
It's exactly the same as flashing the ROM you've already put on pretty much.
Indeed I have
