Here's a quick pic before I head out.

The retards have left the default (90cm) stem on it though (after me specifically asking for a longer, 110cm one) so it's a good job I asked for them to ship me the even longer (12cm) one separately. The handlebars are definitely a bit too narrow for me but I don't know whether to go through the hassle of getting them swapped by canyon now, or seeing how I go on and if necessary doing it myself further down the line.

Looking sweet!! :)

I'd do the latter with the bars, see how you get on then swap them yourself if required....sounds like it would be winter by the time Canyon sorted any changes out!

Why do they insist on the cruddy disk behind the cassette, looks awesome otherwise! Also it looks like the same saddle that came with my Cube Agree did'nt get on with it myself.

That looks awesome! Enjoy!

So, I've just upgraded the stock Giant wheels on my Defy 2 to some Fulcrum Racing 5s. Why did I not do this sooner? Feels so much better! Did a quick 40km in the sunshine this evening and was battering some of the short climb segments compared to my usual.

Took 40 seconds off my best time over the local Ardochrig climb and just outside the top 10 on the Strava leaderboard now:

Can't wait to get out again in the morning. :D

Nice. I like the red in the colour scheme.

I got out and did 27 miles this evening. Took in a cat 3, so it's all good. Just a few hundred more feet to get in tomorrow and I can put my name down on that Sigma climbing competition.

Nice bike Damien

I'll definitely be taking off the noob disc before I take it out. All I did was put it together to make sure it was all there and in one piece. The brakes need adjusting, gears need indexing etc. Plus I need to stick my new tyres/saddle on too. I'll probably do it all Sun night & take it for a spin on Mon.

I hope those wheels can take some abuse though. 90ish KG honking up a steep incline sounds like a recipe for popped rear spokes.

The only other colour available (link) was black/white (as opposed to white/black/a bit of red). I think the white looks better. Although if I could have had a Canyon bike but with a paintjob similar to this Cube Agree I definitely would.

^ That pink Canyon is lovely.

Just received my Cervelo Test team jersey :)

The effort I had to go through to source one of these elusive jerseys in M was ridiculous but the effort was worth it :)

Finished the Castelli challenge Tue and had the rest of the week off the bike, been house sitting for a friend. Lost 4 KOM's, got back last night went out this morning and re took all 4 :) Bring it...

Went out and done a good 40 mile ride this morning, went with some friends so the pace was lacking a bit, but really attacked the hills and got some new pbs and a couple of top 10s, although both on the same section :D

http://app.strava.com/activities/56126551 Clouted a pothole on the way back when I had my head down, so going to have to check the wheels!

85 miles to go on the Castelli challenge, got a wedding today so not sure I'll complete it, depends what state I'm in tomorrow morning.

Local A grade racer Blair Windsor won stage 2 of the National Road Series in Adelaide today.

I had a lazy day in Sydney and have been having a few carb loading beers... Will aim for 60-100km tomorrow, see how I feel when I get out on the bike.
