Alan Wake Complete (Humble Weekly Bundle) only $1.01

voila payed 5$..4$ to remedy 1$ to humble.
Same as me ;) felt I had to give something to Humble I mean they deserve a little for hosting such an amazing deal

Cannot believe this has hit almost $400k now & still has 5 days to run!!!

Just a gentle heads-up for anyone who has not yet bought this amazing deal it still has a few days to go you could do a lot worse for the silly money being asked here ;)

Performance on this is appalling for me for some reason. Even on low the frame rate is low. I can play other games in full on 1080p so not sure what's up with that! I've uninstalled it now but it looked interesting.

Spec?

Can max it on a 4.5Ghz 2600k and an OCed GTX680 but still only just manage between 60 and 80 FPS depending on scene. Was not as easy to run as I expected.

Why have I never hear of Humble Bundle until now?

Well, not taken notice of it :p

don't see why this deserved it's own thread when it was in the deals thread. If people think 2 great games are only worth 70p then God help us all

I paid $8 on the default split. Been wanting this game before but not gonna have time really to play it at moment. Guess it will sit in line with the other Steam games on list :D

Its a week long deal not a daily! If anyone who bought this does not think its worth more than that then :(

No doubt it's a great price. No doubt.

But Alan Wake is a love it/hate it game. I personally found it tedious and boring beyond a couple hours. There just isn't enough variety throughout the game.

Once you've played a couple hours, you've seen pretty much everything the gameplay has to offer (note: I said gameplay). The only thing that might keep you playing is to se how the story ends.

And believe me, I wish I'd stopped playing. I forced myself to finish it and that was silly :p
