I tried Hamilton first and most of the staff didn't really have a clue. The one guy that did was just a bit of a jobsworth and couldn't be bothered trying to help me get the most value of of my Cycle to Work Voucher. He wouldn't even let me reserve and collect the stuff on the website to save a bit of cash because I was using the voucher.
I then tried East Kilbride. I phoned them twice asking about the bike and both times was told I'd get a call back in 10 minutes once they'd had a chance to look into it. Nobody ever called me back. The second time I called them back 40 minutes later and was told the store was closed and no one would speak to me. It was a few minutes before closing time by my watch and even when I said that I had been waiting on a call back for 40 minutes no one could be bothered to come to the phone.
In the end I got my Boardman Team FS, a Topeak Joe Blow Sport 2 track pump, a Camelbak M.U.L.E., a pink Hello Kitty horn (for my daughter, honest) and a plastic thing for scraping the crap out of the cassette and rear derailleur. I'll probably only end up paying about £600 for the lot as well so good times.
