I find the whole 320.xx family of drivers a bit unstable.

read the "alarming" threads again seems to only affect the two games mentioned, eg BF3 and I think because BF3 is a big title a lot of people play hence the rants.

Been fine for me, I dont play BF3.

I played Far Cry 3 last night for 2 hours as I was not far off from the end and had no problems prior to that played an hour or so on World of Tanks no issues.

So, are the 320.18 drivers safe or not? really can't do with a fried 780, is it just scare mongering?

I havent had any issues. Infact these have been a good set for me, including BF3.

Looks like they boost voltages, which is dangerous on pre overclocked cards.

Ok, must admit I've been on 320.18 without issues, but it is worrying when people post up these kind of stories.

By chance I have had CPUID Hardware monitor running all day, I have spent several hours playing Civ5 which is quite demanding on GPUs.

I am using 320.18 drivers at the moment, they were the last drivers loaded when doing some benching.

I have just checked and my GPU volts have not budged all day.

I have included the whole readout to show CPU temps to prove the system has been working.

As mentioned before, it appears thats its fermi gpu related, not keplar.

my BF3 performce has seem to gone down as well as flickering when i alt tab, gpu useage seems to be down.

Pretty sure the game did'nt used to chug with 670 4gb SLI at 1440p
