Why 314.7 instead of 314.22?
Can we get these driver updates moved into the nvidia drivers thread?
I'll rephrase...could we rebadge this update into the nvidia drivers thread
So, are the 320.18 drivers safe or not? really can't do with a fried 780, is it just scare mongering?
I havent had any issues. Infact these have been a good set for me, including BF3.
Looks like they boost voltages, which is dangerous on pre overclocked cards.

I've heard that this driver is causing Fermi based GPU's to over volt, causing physical damage along the way.....back down to an older driver. Though I have a couple of Keplers, I ain't going to try this driver, sticking with 320.00 for now.
By chance I have had CPUID Hardware monitor running all day, I have spent several hours playing Civ5 which is quite demanding on GPUs.
I am using 320.18 drivers at the moment, they were the last drivers loaded when doing some benching.
I have just checked and my GPU volts have not budged all day.
I have included the whole readout to show CPU temps to prove the system has been working.
