Supplements the debate/discussion thread

Is there any flavoured whey on the market that doesn't contain sucralose or aspartame? The stuff gives me terrible migraines.

I'm back, been lurking a bit :p
I see TPW have a 16% off code atm, possible 12% cashback and whatever their referral system is has pushed me towards them

outta banana isolate, choc smooth almost empty, bedtime extreme stuff running out fast and Im pretty much down to the alpha man multivits with Mega Green Tea, I still have creatine mono and l leucine left (I use daily).

Got til midnight tomorrow to decide what to order, few quick questions...
Concentrate seems a LOT cheaper than isolate, with me being pretty much a beginner do I really need isolate?

Anyone tried the Pure whey and milk from tpw? Looking at something to replace the bedtime extreme from MP, hopefully it mixes better than sand :p Or would the cheaper milk protein 85 suffice?

Think the tribulus pro had little to no impact but am thinking of trying DAA, worth a look?
Will the mega green tea from MP conflict with CLA?

Anythign I've missed or gotten wrong?

Also X-Tend? Yay or Nay, my mate gave me a few to try and it certainly made the workout a lot more interesting, do TPW do a similar item?

Stick with concentrate, go with the cheaper milk protein, DAA does seem to have some research behind it and also people do feel it gives them a little boost is it worth it is up to you.
No, no conflicts but to be honest neither will probably be doing a great deal anyway.
Xtend making a workout interesting? Pure placebo but I'm pretty sure TPW do some BCAA which is pretty much the main ingredient of Xtend.

If you've not already got a referral code then te1497 :)

iBCAA and Raze appear to be somewhat similar to Xtend from what I can see, anyone used either? They both contain Leucine as a main ingredient, but I add that to my shakes anyway.

First question, do you know why you want to take BCAAs intra workout? and what is the rest of your diet like.

I always thought they were for recovery enabling the muscles to better use whats available to them for repair/building, like I said tho the Xtend seemed to make me work a bit harder and I sweated like a pig lol. As for diet thats the other thread I'm looking at atm, diet recently has been crap.

Unless you're training fasted or for very long periods of time you won't get a great deal from BCAAs especially if you've already got a decent diet in place.
They're very much an icing supplement, just stick with the basics like whey to start with.

ok dude, will stick with the plain leucine for recovery in my after gym shake :)
As for training fasted I don't do breakfast if that counts lol :p

Gym tends to be about 1-1.5hr, unless I tag 20/30 mins of cardio on too so not long really

Finally got around to ordering some Whey, used Steedies referral code when signing up. No idea what benefit you get if any :)

Bonus! Tried to find your LiE for all the stuff I've learned from your many posts but could only find an MP one for you. Sorry.

Thanks for the help mate, ordered from TPW, used your referral to give the Lemon shortcake a try, hope the flavours I got in bigger packs are ok
