They might as well called it "Arcade Sideways Wow Drift Crew Awesome Yeah ...2".

You can play within minutes of the game being released overseas whilst still being locked here.

TBH I don't know why they bother with the delayed launch thing. I was playing Crysis 3 with minutes of it being launched in the US, then minutes later I switched it off and barely played it again due to it being garbage.

I'm not sure i'm a fan of the progression system through the game i.e earning fans etc but i do enjoy the racing part.

The live routes feature is cool as it switches things up and keeps the course changing.

Drifting is still way too easy and even with AI set to the hardest setting they are a breeze to out drift (using manual gears makes it simple as peas)

overall i would give it a 8/10

I am so confused, I really wanted to get this game, but the overly negative reviews on here are really putting me off. Is there anyone that likes the game? Can you give me a brief review of what you like/dislike about the game?

The first Grid is one of my favourite racing games of all time and I find Grid 2 so dull and boring. Every race just feels like a grind to get to the next one.

everyone thinks about games in different ways, that was just my summary/opinion.

i paid £17.99 for it and know it can be bought for £12 (Rs.999) from the regular Indian stores.

for those prices i think its well worth it.

You will probably h ave to wait till Friday afternoon/Saturday for some real impressions. Most you are seeing on here are from people who have yet to play the game, pirated it or used a VPN to unlock it early (the more positive reviews).

Overall view from reviews seems to be it is a good solid racer with a lot of variety and different feel to each car, with a decent multiplayer and long lasting value. But it also is fairly generic without being anything ground breaking which I think seems to be the general concession with most games this late in a generation cycle. It is also very Arcade like with the handling but yet not that forgiving meaning there is probably a 30 minute or so learning curve to conquer which is a fair bit compared to how pick up and play the like of NFS's are.
 
the game is released today over here so should be unlock able now.

i was using a VPN with no issue but didn't try the MP due to lag.
