Pressing and holding the home and power buttons for a couple of seconds works fine for me. :)


Got my Neo hybrid case today. Metal slate, like it. Makes the phone feel a bit bigger, but doesn't actually look any bigger. Like the fact that it doesn't rock on the speaker bit that protrudes now. That used to drive me mad.
 
Loving the S4 at the moment and still fiddling ! Neo hybrid and media devil screen protector on the way ! Best thing is I can still use my zenis docks !!

Is there a way I can turn down the ringtones and notifier ? I already have them on the lowest setting but they are still to loud for the office ?

How are people finding the custom ROMs? Last time I used any custom ROM there was always some bug meaning x feature didn't work. Are they still like that?
 
You'll rarely get anything like that if you use a Samsung based custom ROM, those problems are normally found in ASOP/AKOP based ROMs although even those seem to be getting much better as daily drivers.
 
Yep most custom ROMs have options to removed the Samsung bloatware or come without it by default and provide a link where you can download it if you want it.
The 2 main ones for the S4 at the moment are Omega and Wanamlite
 
Just cancelled my O2 account and paid the £345 left on my S4.

Got to be honest, I'm amazed and slightly impressed how easy it was. I'm almost annoyed they didn't ask why I'm cancelling (after a 10 minute web chat when signing up, about my 30% discount being applied to the first payment, it still didn't).

Whole thing, from picking up my phone to hanging up afterwards, can't have been more than 4 minutes...

So, even with 1 month air time at full price and two paid for unlock codes (unlocked the first to then notice a screen problem) my brand spanking new S4 cost £468. Not too bad really.
 
Argh! Right as I decide to place an order, Amazon/Carphone/ASDA all up the price from £500 to £550 or £580 again!

Not pleased :( Maybe it's a sign I should hold onto the S3 for a bit longer...
 
the white doesn't get much love round here does it.. I got white.

I thought the black looked awful, the patter so much more visible and it's almost sort of blue and the home buton isn't colour matched properly etc etc etc.
 
Due to a lack of response from the S4 Accessories thread; could somebody please recommend me a 2amp car charger to go with my S4?
