So you gloss over the GPU killing drivers because it didn't harm too many people?
Firstly disregarding that it should not happen once, never mind twice or three times.
Then you start moaning about petty things that you don't even know for yourself and constantly misspell "you're" whilst expecting to be taken seriously?
I don't know how you can take yourself seriously, Humbug's accusations of you being a shill seem quite apt because you're just a massive nVidia apologist.
I never glossed over it, I gave it a proportional response.
Driver issues that in one case only affected people who intentionally disabled a limiter that was designed to stop it happening and in another case only affected a fraction of a percentage of customers are hardly on par with issues that affect a widespread number of customers such as when the latest game isn't properly supported on release by most of a brand's GPUs in terms of the overall end user experience. Then you have to equate in the number of instances of it happening.
To the more recent and apparently widespread issue again a proportional reponse - its too early days to see what the full effects of it will be but as I said its likely to put a stain on nVidias track record - that doesn't automatically invalidate their entire track record (at the point).
As for taking someone seriously or not due to their spelling of a word... thats a pretty retarded point of view if I have to be honest.
And for throwing around shill accusations... if you throw it around that haphazardly pretty much no one would walk out of this thread clean.
