I'm the opposite. Whenever I use Windows (and I have to because of my day job) I find it frustrating. I have to install an SSH client because it doesn't have one built in, for example. I don't have the ability to call upon the underlying UNIX subsystem in Windows. It's like computing with one hand tied behind my back.
And when I'm not in power user mode (I.e I'm writing or editing videos) I find OS X gets out of my way. Windows doesn't. Also, and I'm not trying to incite hatred, writing and video editing tools are much better on OS X.
The same can be said about OSX, its swings a round abouts. As use a number of applications don't run in OSX, VMware Client is one for a example. So I have to use Parallels or Fusion, to get the task I wanted to do done.
Yes, I know the VMware vCenter you can you use the web interface. However, its not the best and its also based on flash which can be a pain in the ass at times.
I've never had any problems editing video's or photographs using the Adobe Creative Suite, if anything it runs much better on my PC. However, that's probably due to the hardware being of a higher grade.
SSH is native to UNIX, so yes it has that advantage. However, I just use Putty or use a CentOS VM when I need to use SSH. I do find that PuttyND or Putty Manager to be much more useful when having multiple SSH windows open.
