sorry about the pics but i'm no good with a camara but you get the idea.

I'm very happy with this screen, skyHD and FreeviewHD are nothing short of stunning. the desktop via PC is crisp an sharp.
The golf game on xbox looks like a graphics upgrade lol.
I'm trying so hard to find something bad about this screen ( had it a week now ) but i cant.
I guess for some people 2 HDMI's isnt enough but for a bedroom screen its
fine for me.
I know a lot of you guys rave about 120Hz and im sure its fantastic but I'm fine running at 60Hz.
I didnt buy the tv for 3D as i didnt interest me but having experienced it i find it superb and quite taken back.
So If you are after a small screen for the bedroom then this is one lush screen :)

If you have any questions let me know.

thanks for reading.

Yeah the only reason you wouldnt consider this screen is that it isnt 120Hz.
The screen cost £429.
How much is a 120Hz this size?
If its double for example then just get this one.
:)

Hi mate, you wouldn't happen to know if the magic remote is compatible at all with any other lg screens - for example the 47" LM620T?

I would mainly be using this screen as a pc monitor but my tv didn't come with smart remote and although I quite fancied getting it, I didn't know if it was worth the price. If this could work the smart features on my tv it would be another reason for me to get this. :)

you'd be amazed at what this remote can control, it even controls my skybox
as its a learning remote so im pretty sure it would work with your existing LG :)
obviously im over the moon with the tv and im going to rave about it but im very very very picky and i just can not fault this screen after 2 weeks m8.

UPDATE: i just checked the LG site and you can use the magic remote with your model:
http://www.lg.com/uk/tvs/lg-47LM620T-3d-tv

go to the video icon under the TV and play the first video, about half way through it shows it being used :)

It does look lovely and seems to tick most of my boxes.

Wish it had a dvi input due to my current set-up, but could obviously get myself a longer hdmi cable or get a hdm-dvi adapter.

Cheers for the sales pitch lol, will post some pics if/ when i take the plunge.

nice just one question with one of the picture what tablet is that in the corner....personal I do like the setup I was looking at this screen to replace my 19" monitor and 32" TV, would this be a good all in one, since I am limited with space, also what are the refresh rates on this screen???

does anyone know anything about this model from LG 29EA93 compare with this one is there any major since I was looking at this for a monitor....also I know the size is different but beside that is there anything else I need to look out for??

No, kmetek is correct, there are two versions of this Monitor TV,
the LG 27MT93V and the LG 27MT93S.

You have the LG 27MT93V which has two hdmi's. The 27MT93S has three hdmi's.

ah right.
is one sold in the USA and the other in Europe ?

I did look on the Polish LG site and theirs has 3 as well.
maybe it's a uk thing.
shame coz i wanted 3 idealy but they tv is so nice i bought it anyway.
i can always buy a decent hdmi switch for £25.

Hi,
I am so pleased to have found your thread.
There is virtually no info around on this TV yet and what there is, is inaccurate even from the info on LG's own site.

They claim it has a freeview tuner , no mention of it being HD.

So can you confirm a couple of points for me please.

You mention:
Freeview HD / FreeSat HD

Have you tuned in both the terrestrial and satellite tuners and confirm both bring up HD channels?

What smart TV functions are available?
What catchup TV channels are available?

I would greatly appreciate your time to reply on these points.

Thank you in advance.

I can only confirm that the Freeview Tuner is HD.
I dont wish to unscrew the my satalite cable from the SkyHD box
because i'll end up breaking it or something lol.
alls i can tell you is that there is a satalite input, i can only assume it would
be HD.
the bbci player "currently" doesnt work but hopefully an update will fix this.
BUT the tv comes with a full web browser thats rather good
and i have successfully watched content from the bbci player website.
netflix is in the listings along with a host of 3D content etc.
It's a lovely tv mate treat yourself :)
