What film did you watch last night?

The Rock - 8.5/10

Kept me awake so it was pretty good! :D

You should watch face off
and con air
if you never saw them

The rock , face off and con air are known as the nicholas cage holy trinity when all the stars aligned for him and he made 3 really good movies in a row

I felt it was a good film however I think Dwayne has become a little too type cast now with his previous roles and I just couldn't take his role in this as believable, especial when he's built like he is then plays a haulage owner who is a little scared etc.

You now expect his characters to be the type who go all guns blazing and takes no crap from anyone.

Yeah, it wasn't his typical role but I really liked that and felt that he did a great job.

Before I even seen the film (only watched 1 trailer/clip), I was expecting him to be a bad ass and killing every one with ease :p I was even expecting something epic to happen with that black prisoner when he first met his son in jail!

I've seen Face Off and loved it, but haven't seen Con Air yet, thanks for the recommendation I'll try and get to watch it soon :D

21 and Over.

Watched 20 minutes. Hated the dumb guy of the three and wanted to punch him in the face repeatedly. Too much unnecessary swearing and it was just terrible all round really.

0.5/10.

0.5 for the blonde in the bar.

"how I spent my summer vacation"

Mel Gibson returning to the big screen in what is actually a very good, watchable film. He plays an ex sniper who has turned to crime and ended up in a mexican jail. Due to his actions in the jail, the film has a weird godfather/scarface/goodfella's gangster sort of feel to it, which kept me watching. Overall, I really enjoyed it from start to finish and will give it a 9/10

This is 40 - Watched this with the wife last night, was not expecting too much, but we both really enjoyed it! Paul Rudd, is pretty classic and has some great dialogue/arguments throughout. 7/10
