Do you undertake middle lane morons!

Noisy exhausts are fine when the car is worthy for them. Problem is you see too many muppets putting quad jet engine exhausts on 1.0 corsas.

It`s like they`re doing it on purpose just to annoy people.

Yep there is a higher limit allowed for supercars

Truth be told though, most cars running loud exhausts are far from super ;)
and I mean super in just about every way measurable :)

I`d actually agree that no car should be allowed out of the inside lane if it`s doing less than 60mph because there`s a safety issue in cars

As a driver of a speed limited vehicle (55mph) that uses both lanes 1 & 2 with no safety issues, I'd say your quite wrong there.

I was travelling home on the M6 after being called out in the evening. On the way home about 1am I was in lane 1 in my Merc Sprinter van and a car was in lane 2 doing about 60mph. My van is limited to 73mph on the speedo so 70mph GPS give or take.
Car in lane 2 got a flash to invite him to move over. He refused, I then went into lane 3 with about 200mtrs until I was overtaking. I gave him another flash and put on my left indicator. He still stayed in lane 2. I over took him and put on my right indicator then pulled into lane 1 still with right indicator flashing. Gave him 2 flashes of fog light and switched to the left indicator for a while. Still not getting the message he still stayed in lane 2.
Now there was no other cars on the motorway besides me this other car in lane 2 and way off to the rear 1 other car that had stayed at the same distance from me for quite some time.
Now I'm not normally frustrated by middle lane hogs but doing 60mph at 1 am with no other traffic I snapped and gave him my full treatment. To my horror and sheer O'**** the car way off to the rear put on a set of Blue flashing lights and flashing head lights and started to gain on me very fast.
At this point I reached for my wallet on the dash and checked I had my licence with me. The car in lane 2 pulled up along side me and gave me the finger and the look of yes you **** you're gonna get yours.
The Police car pulled up behind the car in lane 2 and stayed there, they both slowed down and pulled onto the hard shoulder.

I was like wtf get in......................Justice is served.

As for the new "rules" hard to enforce on a busy motorway but quiet times of the day I say let the tickets rain down.

This pleases me greatly :)

Hardly justice, lol

Just a bored copper who wants to pass some time. I bet they had a chat about their favourite sport and went on their way.

I was just about to post that link in here as well. The only reason I read the article because I was looking for the comments section to post some hate at the BBC for referring to it as the 'fast lane'. Divs.

Well i drive at work my Van all day long around city centre.
I undertake 99% of time ****ers doing 20mph on right lane !!!! I would never deliver stuff in time I got cause of those people.
Other annoying ones are moving from traffic lights like they ware asleep.... But those are no problem always take them from left lane off lights......

I stick to 30mph limit never had any speeding tickets. People just dont know its acceleration that gets you to places not doing 50 in 30 zone.....

I most certainly do not think all drivers of German cars (even Audis....) are crap, that would be a totally stupid thing to even think. A higher proportion of them are though, and I`ve done the research to prove it thanks very much.

A good eighty percent of the very worst driving I`ve seen in the last month has involved a German car, including a cretin in a black BMW actually overtaking me by going the wrong way round a roundabout (east Hythe), an imbecile - at the last moment - cutting across 4 lanes then the hatched area then 3 more lanes on the slip road (to turn left from Junc 4 of the M25) in a metallic red Mercedes open top, and a moron in a white Audi (near Goldthorpe) trying to overtake a car on the inside by using the cycle lane.......
I know I`m right about (some) German car drivers, but I also reckon Vauxhall Astra and Vauxhall Insignia drivers are more likely to be aggressive, particularly if the cars are black in colour, which, if you think about it, is pretty stupid, because if you`re going to drive too fast and/or aggressively, you really should be in a car whose colour makes you as visible as possible. But then again, these kind of drivers obviously have no imagination anyway, "what could possibly go wrong ?" must never occur to them.

Thanks for that. Very informative. Would read again.
