Well it's a right-handed guitar that is strung left-handed so probably his. that's what you were getting at isn't it?

the John Lennon photo is a famous one. The other person in the Photo (who he is signing an autograph for) later that day, killed him.

What an odd question. I'd understand you wondering who owned the guitar if Jimi was primarily a drummer, but... :p

It was his favourite and most famous guitar - Black Beauty. Monika Dannemann, his then girlfriend, took it after his death and kept it hidden away (apart from a few times) for around 26 years until her death. It was then acquired by her husband, and I'm guessing it's still in his possession now, locked away forever...

I think this is the only available picture of it after his death:

Pretty much the holy grail of guitars.

Looks like a cannabis plant behind him, though I don't believe it is.

Ah. :o

I must admit that I didn't know who a few of these people are and had to google them. Jennie Rivera was killed in a plane crash. I'm assuming the photo was developed from film recovered from the crash which makes the picture quite poignant.

Christopher McAndless was an american adventurer who died after hiking into the wilderness in Alaska to live in solitude for a while, his remains were found 4 months later weighing only 67 pounds.

Chris McCandless' journey is a great story, despite a tragic ending. Read the book "Into the Wild" if you get the chance, the film isn't too shabby either.

I had to google a few too and wondered about this one as the photo on Wikipedia and other recent photos don't look like the woman in that photo to me.
