Ok it uses 8 pin cables (which i dont think i have looking through the side window) at my 560ti. can you use an adapter?

Also how many Watts needed for a 3570k running at 4.6 and a 770 with a modest over clock?

is it time to swap out my 5 year old PSU.

What PSU do you have?

I would be worth checking with the side off that they are not 6+2 pin cables with the extra connectors tucked out of sight.
