I miss the simplicity of the CM10.1/PA apps. So clean and minimal.
Seriously cannot get on with TWiz!!
 
Yea it just depends if it releases on say slightly different hardware then its all down to the devs on xda etc to crank open the code and make updates, which imo isn't quite as tidy as having the phone with the software on to begin with.

Thats true but if its US only is it going to be compatible over here? Dont we have a different version of the S4?

The only thing i wonder about is seeing as its going to be stock android can we flash roms like PA over the top of it?!

Same with the HTC One
Same will go for the Sony Xperia too i guess when it comes out....

Im not getting on with my S4 at the moment. If nothing comes of it then i'll just sell it as it was a free upgrade so i'll just put the money towards another phone.

Going by Google's history of releasing things, i wouldn't be surprised if its US only to begin with and then after several months available in the UK....(that's if they release it here). Officially its US only at the moment.
 
Personally I really don't see the point of getting a stock google experience HTC one or GS 4.

Unless you badly want a 1080P SAMOLED/SLCD 2 screen, front facing speakers of the one, SD card or whatever.

Camera will suck balls compared to the sense and touchwiz versions (you don't have the software optimisation of TW that plays a very large part in the quality etc.) plus you lose everything like the feature of the TV/IR remote, airview, smart stay/scroll etc.


I say wait for the X phone by moto or just hang on till November/December when the next nexus device is out.

I ran PA on my s2 for a long time. That doesnt really explain why...

themes like jb dom pretty much deal with every complaint I personally have with TW. im running foxhound rom (which includes a modded jb dom) and besides the 4 tabs in settings, you wouldnt even know its TW. And I believe even the tabs are removed in the latest jb dom. So why is it so bad then?
