What's the best adblocker and where do I find it as they've all been removed from the play store?

I use Adaway - works well. Easy to find on Google - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2190753

What happens to us S4 owners when android 4.3 is released? Obviously we have to wait for Samsung to send out an update but for us guys that use custom ROMs, can we expect the something quicker from the developer community?

Bah! Just released the Samsung sensor only work with Samsung apps. Installed ICS gallery from play store and can't pan/scroll using the smart sensors! Boo

I would be very surprised if active custom roms didn't see 4.3 within a week of release. I would be very surprised if the stock rom did see 4.3 within a week.

it'll be interesting to see what happens with the google editions, it sounds like the idea with that is you'll get all the updates as soon as they are released, as per the nexus devices...

But rumour has it that on the nexus editions the camera will suck without TW. This is why I came back to TW based ROMs from CM10.1 as in CM10.1 the camera really really sucked!

Would have been nice if the Google edition came with Sammy optimised software...

set the dropdown colour to black then :)

Ye i didnt realise they not heading and your meant to click on them :)

Anyone if the stock Android apps such as Dialer/Contacts work on the S4?!

What if you use apps like Snap Camera HDR? Does this mean that TW isnt being used so the photos/videos are degraded?
The only reason i ask is because S4's interface is cluttered and i prefer the clean look of Snap Camera HDR.

According to the authors of CamSpeed, that isnt really the case:

Unsure it looks at the hardware in depth.
Im sure my Samsung s4 has better camera than nexus 4

We measure the performance using public Android camera APIs and Galaxy S4 seems to use different/private much faster APIs on its default camera app and offers much slower public APIs to use for developers. That is a shame, because S4 has much more potential than it is offering for 3rd party app developers. Picture quality is not measured here.

Although they are only talking about the speed of the APIs, the fact that different APIs are in use means there could well be a difference in picture quality. Now, most people would say the samsung camera app is the best for quality though whether that's down to the app or the apis i dont know. Easy way to test though - if all camera apps use optimized software on samsung roms then they will perform better than they do on other roms. So just compare them :)

Is there anyway of getting the volume panel expanded as default when clicking the volume buttons? It just shows volume but I want to see options for notification and system volumes too. Was an option on AOSP ROMs...

Also, holding volume down and power doesn't do any thing but being up the volume panel....
