Tour de France 2013 *** Spoilers ***

Yeah I know what you mean, I'm thinking the pace of sky will have lost the other team members from their rivals before they drop off having done their turn. Anyway, will see how they fair!

Cav is 1.80 to win the first stage, I'm not sure I would back him, but then again I can't see anyone beating him..

I backed him quite heavy in his first tour.

Stage 1 punctures nearing finish
Stage 2 crashes out.

Rest of tour I backed him head to head against Bennati and won it back.

Andre Greipel has looked very strong all year and I don't think Cav has got OPQ working the way he would like consistently.

Bouhani been going well also might be worth a punt.

Gone for Kennaugh for the white:p

Well if you like throwing money away.. Doubt he finishes in the top 100

I wouldn't put any money on the first stage. Sounds like the road is very technical and there's bound to be at least one big crash, I think it's going to be a bit of a lottery!

Oh didnt see Sagan at 11, ill have that

What time is the finish expected? i want to go out for a ride myself:D

I don't see Sagan having much of a chance tomorrow to be honest. Off the top of my head he's only beaten Cav in a proper sprint once (Tirreno-Adriatico this year). Tomorrow's stage is one for the pure sprinters. Sagan has a shout for the green jersey again this year but I'd still fancy Cav given the number of flat stages.

I agree. Cav seems to be in good form especially showing in the nationals. I do rate Sagan though, maybe we can get some sunshine to watch the highlights so that after work I can crack open a beer and enjoy it! :D

Are we going to have a spoilers alert, or is it just best to steer clear of the thread until highlights have been watched? Really don't mind if thats the case.

I've asked for a thread name change to have a spoilers alert so best stay clear during the day if you don't want live updates. :)

Here we go... :D
Looks like today's break has already been allowed to go right from the flag.
5 riders including Juan antonio fletcha and lars boom along with riders from euskaltel, europcar and suar sojasun who i didnt recognise.

Just had a look at UTV4 covergae and the picture (non-HD) isn't too good.

On the other hand the pictures are a couple of seconds ahead of Eurosport HD so if youre having a bet theose coulple of seconds could make the difference between picking a faller or not.
