*** The Official Samsung Galaxy S4 Thread ***

if you think it's slower then that's down to TW, not foxhound :o. Foxhound isnt any slower than any other TW-based rom in reality.

foxhound 0.7, AdamKernel 1.4.

The S4 feels plenty nippy on FH 0.5 - just needs to be more consistently fluid . I feel the notification bar slide down too fast for instance, out of tune with the rest of the UI. Just little nit picky things. Overall the S4 is damn fast.

I've gone back to Wanamlite, I actually missed touchwiz. The stock google rom ran great but it was just too plain for my liking, I actually like the samsung touchwiz without any launcher installed for now and runs very smooth.

That's the best score I've been able to achieve in the 20 or so times I've ran it and strangely, that score was from the very first time I ran it. There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason behind the eventual score from what I can tell. I've had every result from 13,000 up to the score you see above even though the benchmark was ran in the same fashion each time. By that I mean all open apps were closed prior to the benchmark and all unnecessary processes were stopped.

For the record, I'm using Foxhound 0.7 and the Apex launcher.

My screenshot was first time - I don't really put any faith in these benchmark apps tbh. Go by the feel of the phones performance.

Couldn't agree more. Real-world use is where it's at. Benchmarking tends to just give you one more thing to worry about.

I've noticed my phone stutters on occasion but I rationalise that by telling myself that it's bound to stutter at times considering the amount of things it's trying to do and be master of them all.

I have to admit to missing a few pages, so maybe someone asked but...

I'm on Foxhound 0.7 and getting really annoyed how the notification bar only comes down every maybe 1 in 3 attempts. Does anyone else get this? I've never had it before...

Give Nova launcher a spin - you might find it's Apex launcher being a bit stuttery.

Just updated to Foxhound 0.8 and now none of my dropbox or facebook photos show up in the gallery. In the settings > accounts, Dropbox and Facebook show up as sync disabled and sync is encountering problems at the moment respectively.

Anyone have any ideas to solve this?

I was originally using Nova but switched to Apex just to see what it was like. Now I've gone back to Nova and it's a lot less jerky. The benchmarking scores seem more consistent as well.
