Madeleine McCann's parents

My God, case closed. This man knows exactly what happened.

Did you read what I wrote? I said “I hold little hope of any evidence coming forward”, and "we'll probably never know". I certainly never said I knew exactly what happened throughout this case.

No need to roll the sarcastic eyes.

Perhaps you should have put a maybe in front of your statement then, as a parent I would steadfastly hold out hope regardless until given damning proof of the alternative.

So many people "know what has happened" but really are just casting aspersions. I have no idea but do sincerely still hope the wee girl is at least safe and happy where she is. I agree that leaving your kids while abroad (nevermind at home) is terrible. We never let our three out of our sights when away.

I would be absolutely stunned if they ever find her. There should be a limitation to these things as well with regards to police work. 5 years worth of extensive work and nothing has come of it. Nothing that has peaked their interest has been of any use at all. They seem to now be going down the route of "these are known dodgy characters and they might have been in Europe at the time"

The thing I am most confused about is why they are still making out that she is likely alive, "there is no evidence that she has been murdered so we assume she is still alive". Perhaps you should look at it from the other side and accept that there has been zero indication of where she might be or whether she is alive. In these case, most of them end badly and no news is not good news.

Can I ask if you have children of your own?

Nope and I am sure that would change my view but that doesn't make what I am saying now wrong. We could literally spend the entire policing budget on missing person investigations. What is so special about this case over all of the others.

Nothing whatsoever, they shouldn't be using more resources than they would on any other missing child case. What I am saying is that the high majority of folks in the UK can believe in a god they have never seen, believe in miracles etc but cant for one minute believe that someone has played a blinder (relatively speaking) in kidnapping and withholding a child without getting caught?

Only this year think back to the house where three brothers had held some girls against their will for years and years, fathering at least one child etc. It can happen.

Never even see you before, your input is so pathetic that i have never even noticed you on this forum and you have made 7000 comments. lol

He's the guy who has a thing for Asian birds and takes every opportunity to **** off English women.

unfortunately the girl has been dead for a long time. The likely hood of her being alive is extraordinary slim at best and tbh it may be better if she wasn't.
The best we can hope for is that her body is found and those that did the heinous crime are brought to justice.
The only positive that this has brought is a hopeful awareness that will prevent similar situations arising.

when you have kids you plan what you do on hols around them, not leave them in a room on there own while you go drinking

This, strangely enough, is a lesson many, many parents seemed to learn following the Maddy event.
I found it shocking the amount of parents who made comments along the lines of 'I've always left x, or when we leave y', following this case.
I doubt the leave the kids anymore, or hopefully do not.
