For those who haven't seen it appear, its now on steam.
Enjoy.

I would add though the pc version had toned down stuff like midi music files, but is a very moddable game.
Hopefully the steam workshop can sort out the modding side of things soon.

Literlary just said to myself "No I don't need it, have a PS4/XB1 to save for and I have already played it" ... while clicking through the steam checkout.

Bought it through the publisher instead when it was on sale a few months ago.

It's still a great game, even though it's showing its age in design and graphics.
If you get a chance to pick it up in the Steam sale then get it!

Bought and installed. I'd be interested in seeing the sales stats for Steam vs SE's store in say a months time. I bet Steam surpasses it with ease.

Oh my actual goodness!

I have the original pc collectors edition still boxed but its such a pain to get running on W7.

I may have to buy this just for the hassle free factor (and to see my favourite game ever on my steam list ;))

Aeris lvl 100 here I come!!

FF7 works fine on W7 IIRC.

I bought it off Square site the other month, just bought it on Steam as well :D

Me too, good news though, the SE achievements turn into steam achievements as soon as you load your previous save (which is an SE cloud save not a steam cloud save)

Basically I just paid £10 to covert SE achievements to steam and let my old clan mates know I'm not really a hardcore FPS player afterall ;)

Partial controller supported... If this works with a 360 controller. Sold!

Without faffing with xpadder or stuff like that.

Ah the memories, remember myself and three other guys from work popping out one lunchtime to buy PS1's just to.play this!
