A true biker is one who enjoys it on whatever bike in whatever riding conditions.

But I must say I'd hate to be on some dog **** bike.

Very true, but only been there on my own bike once before and was very new to the whole thing. Would love to see what it'd be like now, but alas no doubt it'll be on some heavy ass cheap hire bike.

Crossing my finger for something decent!

What Android app do you guys use to map your rides? Just got an S4 after years of Blackberry, there's a few free ones in the Play store that I've spotted all of which have good reviews.

I ride on and off road and would be good to map both with some stats if possible.

edomondo is good but kills battery life, you get more stats and gps maps than you can shake a stick at

I find Endomondo brilliant with my battery in the S3. A 2 hour ride will typically only use about 8%.

Gisburn tomorrow, make the most of the summer weather.

Awsome looking bike clawz, love it.

Speaking of awesome lookin bikes, check out this Enduro 29er. Appeals very much to my sense of bike colouring! :D
I'd have taken the gold bits off though.

halfords doing me good already....
Your bike should be assembled and ready for collection at our Ncastle store by 4pm Friday 5th July.
Had a phone call telling me my bike will be ready to pick up "by 4:30"
Maybe they are hoping the store closes before I ride up the street and realise how **** they have setup the bike lol....

I bet the bikes come with only the pedals and handle bars missing must be hard work for the halfords employees if it takes them almost a full day

If they changed the word should for will, Halfords would be so much better... lol

and if they phoned you when the bike was actually ready for collection rather than giving you a vague time at the end of the day when it's rush hour they would be offering a much better service

when I worked in Halfs (13 years ago eek) yeah no pedals / bars off / forks backwards / gears already setup - so if you knew what you were doing - about 15 mins of unpacking / checking bolts and pump the tires up and you're done

box of bits arrived from bike-discount.de.

Carbon 456 ready to be brought back from the dead tonight. Some lovely 785mm bars to put on - Cow will be happy!

How long do orders from bike-discount usually take? I was looking at there bikes but I think it said upto 14 days :O

is it one of those bulk selling sites that always seem under staffed and it takes days for orders to get processed even if it's not a full bike?
