Best 'The Matrix' Blu Ray transfer

Evening. Just bought a Blu Player! (Yes I know I'm late to the party)

Simple question : which Matrix blu ray available to buy has the best quality transfer?

There no best transfer. All of the released blu-rays have the same transfer. The only difference being between various steelbook editions is the price.

You can probably get the full set now for a tenner. All the prints are the same and all are awesome. Only problem is some parts are too good and makes the cg look fake.

Indeed it does. I don't know why they had to include the parts that required a CGI Neo that looked like something from a video game. Actually, I do know; they wanted to make it cool. They ended up trying to do too much with what was inevitably a pointless scene.

A friend of mine is currently working for a distribution company and apparently there is a 4K BR edition in the works with modded CG that brings it up to date. As far as I remember at the moment its just the first one they are currently working on

No there isn't

The CG in the smith fight, well even if they redid it in 4k with fancy new CG that single fight scene would still be 3 hours too long and be utterly crap.

The music is so awful in that fight, its got that kind of ramping up to a finale music...... then no finale and it starts to build up the music again, and again, and again and it never ruddy ends.

Same with the last Smith fight in the last film, so pointlessly long and boring, yeah cg, woo, they are fighting and flying, but its just so inevitable, no actual beating, no nothing, just unending stupidity.

only one they need to work on unless they rewrite the other 2 and skip nearly all the outside of the matrix rubbish
