Hmm maybe if they do a release on next gen then maybe well see even more higher quality things like high res textures come to the pc version because of the next gen versions? Be interesting to find out for sure.

Also tibbz, as next gen consoles will be out around end of this year. I personally cant see these getting gtav on launch as there will be a lot of modifications and enhancments needed to make it good for ps4 and xb1 so probably im guessing will be june or somit next year the next gen version will be along with pc release. At a guess.

I hope the gameplay is more like GTA IV as it is looking, but with just more fun aspects like the planes and quads... I liked the realistic side of GTA, especially the car (crashes) :D

People doubting PC version are ridiculous.
Rockstar has had this operating procedure for 12 years now. Ever since GTA3 they always announced console version first and PC version later and released PC version around 6 months after console one. Also, PC version was always much superior, both in graphics and features. GTA5 will not be an exception.

Doing it this way is profitable for them, because many people who buy it on console (due to lack of PC announcement) later also buy the PC version, thus giving Rockstar money twice.

I don't, i really didn't like the realism of gta 4. I much preferred the less realism game play style of the 3-sa era of games. Tho the cars were nice, the on foot aspect of the game was horrible to play with for me. Also even then you couldn't go round corners at speed like in past gta games. Which you should as it should be a action game not a sim imo.

Ooh 5 mins to go or there abouts. Bet their site is going to get bombed by all the traffic incoming. Hope they have various sources prepared to spread the load that gets a synced release.

I personally liked the heaviness as I do tend to prefer more 'realistic' and sim type games, but yes each to their own... I do get what you're on about, as I didn't entirely like it, hopefully they can find a nice balance in this one!

I dont mind the actual heaviness if its on heavy vehicles but for light cars and sport cars i think it was a little over the top there. As you say if they can tweak and tone it better for this then yeah i wouldn't mind as long as for light cars they can take corners better than heavier things like vans and the likes. But for running around on foot i really hope that gets took off i.e the no animations its all simulated thing. As i much prefered the gta 3-sa running around instead it was more fluid and quicker.
